Introduction

Vel Tech Undergraduate Engineering Entrance Exam commonly known as VTUEEE 2020 is conducted by Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology for admissions to B.Tech programmes offered by the university. VTUEEE 2020 will be held in two phases. While Phase I exam of VTUEEE 2020 will be held in January 2020, Phase II will be conducted on April 2020. Candidates less than 25 years of age as on July 1, 2020

 

Relaxation: Age relaxation applicable to SC/ST/PC candidates up to 5 Years.

Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

 

i) In addition to the standard Government norms, candidates who seek admission to B.Tech degree Programmes should have either completed or appearing and Candidates should have completed 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination from the following recognized boards.

 

An Examination from the following recognized boards.

 

  • Any State Board, (CBSE, New Delhi) and (CISCE, New Delhi).

 

  • National Institute of Open Learning.

 

  • Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board or University.

 

  • High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or equivalent.

 

ii) A pass in +2 (or its equivalent).

 

Note: Those appearing for 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in March/ April/ May 2020 can appear for VTUEEE 2020.

VTUEEE 2020 Scholarship

VTUEEE Scholarship

The Scholarships are offered based on MPC aggregate scored by the Student in Class XII final or equivalent examination.

 

  • A student who scores Above 95% will be eligible for a 75% Scholarship in the Tuition Fee.

 

  • A student who scores between 90 – 94.9% will be eligible for a 50% Scholarship in the Tuition Fee.

 

  • A student who scores between 80 – 89.9% will be eligible for a 25% Scholarship in the Tuition Fee.

 

  • A student who scores between 70 – 79.9% will be eligible for a 10% Scholarship in the Tuition Fee.

 

Vel Tech Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship is given for B.Tech Programmes based on the RANK.

Acceptable ID’s include PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photo)/ Aadhar Enrolment Number. / Ration Card.

  

Note: Candidates must bring their own Black Ballpoint Pen to write and to shade the appropriate Boxes.

Candidates should report to the respective centre 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the test.

Calculators, tables, side ruler, pager and cellular phones are not permitted in the exam hall
Candidate must carry Admit Card and ID Proof to the Examination Hall.

Candidates should not bring any material with them except the Hall Ticket, Pen, H.B. Pencil and Eraser for Offline Exam.
The hall ticket is an important document. It should be preserved and produced at the time of counselling and admission.

No break is permitted during the test.
For Online Exam, in case of any problems or glitches in the system given to the candidates, they should be immediately be brought to the notice of the invigilator.

Candidate must not tamper with the hall ticket or alter any entry made therein after it has been authenticated.
