VSAT 2020 Eligibility

Age Limit

Candidates born on or after 1st July 1998 are eligible to apply.

Educational Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

i) Candidates should pass in Intermediate or its equivalent with minimum B2 grade/ CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State are eligible to appear for the admission test.

ii) Candidates qualified in AP or TS EAMCET/ JEE (Mains)/ JEE (Advanced) with a minimum of B2 grade/ CGPA of 7.0 in Andhra Pradesh or above 60% aggregate marks in Telangana State in the +2/ Intermediate examination.

Streams for V-SAT 2020:

● Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English /Aptitude in the V-SAT 2019 are eligible for all the B.Tech. and B.Pharmacy programmes.

● Candidates who attempt Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English/Aptitude in the V-SAT 2019 are eligible for B.Tech - Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Food Technology, and B.Pharmacy Programmes.

Note: Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination and awaiting results can also apply.

Modes of Application

There are four modes of registration as under Applications or wherever the forms are available:

i. Direct:

Candidates can obtain applications by post from the University Office on payment of Rs. 1200/- through DD drawn in favour of Vignan University, payable at Guntur or in-person from any of Vignan Schools or Colleges at Guntur, Hyderabad, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Ongole and Vignan offices at Vijayawada, Guntur & Hyderabad.

ii. Indian Bank Branches:

Applications can also be obtained from Indian Bank branches throughout the States of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

iii. Download:

The Application form can be downloaded from the University website: www.vignan.ac.in. The duly filled application along with the DD for Rs. 1200/- drawn in favour of Vignan University, payable at Guntur should be sent to the given address, so as to reach before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD.

iv. Apply-online:

Candidates can also apply online from the University website: www.vignan.ac.in / address through net banking/credit card/debit card and there is no need to send the copy of the application form by the applicant.

Note: Receipt of application forms:

● The Last date for receipt of filled-in application at the University office is 05 April 2019.

● Applications received after the due date will not be entertained.

● Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the filled-in application for future reference.

● The University will not be responsible for any postal delay, loss in postal transit /any irregularity beyond the control of the University.

Steps to fill the VSAT 2020 Online Application Form:

• Candidates have to visit the Official Website.

• Go through Future Students.

• Go to admissions and Select the Course, Stream.

• Click on ' Click Here to Fill Online V-SAT Application '.

• Enter all the required information.

• Upload passport size photo & scanned copy of your signature.

• Choose the Test Centre of your choice.

• Pay the application fees online.

• Submit and take a print out of the fees paid for future use.

VSAT 2020 Admit Card

Availability of Hall Ticket:

• Hall Ticket will be available online in the Official Website 7 days before the Exam.

Download Procedure:

• Candidates should Log - into the VSAT Official Website

• Enter the Application Number or Date of Birth of the Applicant.

• Upon successful log-in, the hall ticket will be displayed on a screen.

• Download and take a printout. 

Note:

• Hall tickets will also be dispatched through courier/ speed post.

• In case a candidate fails to get a hall ticket 7 days before the scheduled date for V-SAT 2020, he/ she should report the same immediately to the Dean-Admissions.

Marking Scheme

● Each Correct Answer Carries One Mark.

● There is No Negative Marking.

Acceptable ID’s include (must be original, valid and nonexpired)–passport/ ration card/ voter ID card/ Aadhar card/ driving license/ PAN card/ College ID card.

Note: Candidates should not bring any material with them except the Hall Ticket, Pen, H.B. Pencil and Eraser.

Use of calculators, log tables and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, and cellular phones are strictly prohibited for the test.

· Candidates should report to the respective centre 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the test.

· Candidate requested to carry a valid hall ticket. The hall ticket should be produced to the invigilators for verification.

· Candidates should not bring any material with them except the Hall Ticket, Pen, H.B. Pencil and Eraser.

· The hall ticket is an important document. It should be preserved and produced at the time of counselling and admission.

. No break is permitted during the test.

· The test centre Co-ordinator is authorized to dismiss a candidate from the test:

->  For Creating disturbance.

->  Attempting to take the test on behalf of someone else.

->  Talking to other test takers.

-> Use of calculators, slide rules, cell phones, concealed microphones, wireless devices or any other material that may aid in answering questions.

· Candidate must not tamper with the hall ticket or alter any entry made therein after it has been authenticated.

VSAT 2020 Results

Exam Result Date

Candidate Test Results will be available in the VSAT 2020 official website from May 2020.

Procedure to check the Result

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of VSAT.

Step 2: candidate should Navigate Results tab.

Step 3: Enter their Hall Ticket Number, Intermediate Marks and submit.

Step 4: The online Score-Card for VSAT 2020 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it for further use.

VSAT 2020 Cut - Off

Cut - Off

• VSAT Cut Off is the minimum score required to secure admission in the B.Tech course offered by Vignan’s University and its associated campuses.

• VSAT cut off will depend on a lot of factors such as:

  • The number of applicants,
  • The number of seats available,
  • Previous year cut off marks,
  • Difficulty levels of the entrance test.

• VSAT 2020 Merit List will be published on the basis of VSAT 2020 Cut - Off along with the declaration of VSAT 2020 Result.
