Eligibility

SRMJEEE 2020 Eligibility

Nationality 

Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE (UG)

SRMJEEE 2020 Entrance Test Age Limit

Should have attained the age of 16+ on the 31st July of the calendar year in which the 12th Board examination is to be held.

SRMJEEE Entrance Test 2020 Eligibility

Minimum 60% aggregate in PCM

 

(i) Passed in the Higher secondary examination (10+2 pattern ) or appearing in Higher Secondary examination in the current academic year with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects in the regular stream from any state board within India, CBSE, ISCE, Matriculation, or NIOS.

 

(ii) International Baccalaureate (IB) A-level with Physics,  Chemistry, and Mathematics as major subjects in any International schools within India.

Use the URL: https://applications.srmuniv.ac.in/ to register and pay online.

 

Instructions

 

  • All fields marked with*  in the application form are mandatory to be filled.

 

  • Please keep the following self-attested scanned documents ready before filling the application form: Passport sized (dimension 200 x 230 pixels preferred) photograph and signature (dimension 140 x 60 pixels preferred)

 

  • After successful submission of the application form, an application number will be generated. Save that number for future reference and communications.

 

Note: Application will be kept open for editing except email id and mobile no. during First week of April 2020, for SRMJEEE - UG and for SRMJEEE - PG, dates shall be announced later.

 

Course/Campus preference selected at the time of application is only for statistical purposes, the actual course preference can be selected at the time of counselling based on SRMJEEE - All India Rank and availability of seats.

Application to be filled online by visiting https://applications.srmuniv.ac.in/ and the same can be downloaded and sent to us with the DD for Rs.`1100/- drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai. This has to reach us before the last date specified. Candidates should write their name and address on the reverse of DD and send to:

SRMJEEE 2020 Slot Booking

The candidates who are appearing in the exam of SRMJEEE 2020 have to do slot booking mandatorily, if not the admit card will not be generated.

 

How to do SRMJEEE 2020 Slot Booking?

 

  • Visit the official slot booking link.

 

  • Login using registered email ID and password.

 

  • Select preferred date and time.

 

  • Confirm the chosen exam centre.

 

  • Submit the same.

Download Procedure
  • The hall ticket will be issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respect, on or before the last date as specified.

 

  • The hall ticket will contain the name, photograph and address of the candidate, the address of the Test Centre allotted and test schedule.

 

  • The hall ticket should be downloaded from the candidate’s login/ dashboard.

 

  • Once received, it should be carefully examined by the candidate. If any discrepancy is noticed it should immediately be brought to the notice of the Director, Admissions.

 

  • No candidate will be permitted to attend the test without a valid hall ticket. The hall ticket should be presented to the invigilators for verification.

 

  • Candidate must not tamper with the hall ticket or alter any entry made therein after it has been authenticated.

 

  • The hall ticket is not transferable to any other person. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.

 

  • The hall ticket is an important document. It should be preserved and produced at the time of counselling and admission. The candidate must bring his/ her Aadhaar Card along with hall ticket.

 

  • Hall Ticket not received due to the application being incomplete: SRMJCCA is not responsible for informing students about their incomplete applications. Candidates are advised to double-check that the application form is complete in all respects before posting.

Counselling

SRMJEEE 2020 - Counselling Dates & Schedule

The successful candidates will have to take part in the SRMJEEE 2020 counselling process to complete the admission process which will begin in May 2020.

 

  • Counselling date: The counselling process will begin on 3rd June 2020 (tentative).

 

  • Rounds: The counselling will be done in 2 rounds offline and online.

 

  • First round: The first round of counselling of SRMJEEE 2019 will be held in offline mode tentatively from the second to third week of May 2020.

 

  • Call: The candidates will be called for counselling as per their rank based on the results of SRMJEEE 2020.

SRMJEEE 2020 - Counselling Procedure

SRMJEEE 2020 Counselling Procedure:

 

  1. Candidates will be invited for counselling session based on the score obtained in SRMJEEE (UG).
  2. One or more counselling sessions will be held depending on the vacancy of seats.
  3. Candidates can choose their preferred specialization/branch of study on a particular campus based on
    • Merit List based on Score obtained.
    • fulfilling the programme-specific eligibility criteria for a particular campus
    • subject to the availability of seats at that point of time.
  4. Upon selection of specialization/branch, full tuition fees and other applicable fees have to be paid at the time of counselling
  5. Provisional Allotment Letter (PAL) will be issued to confirm the candidate's admission.

SRMJEEE 2020 - Counselling Admission Form

SRMJEEE 2020 Counselling Admission Form:

 

The candidates whose names appear in the All India Rank (AIR) will have to wait for the release of the online admission form that will be released by the SRM University. The candidates will have to fill the application form to make them available for the admission procedure. Here they have to enter the following details:

 

  • Applicants will need to opt for the SRM University Engineering Courses on the online application form.
  • The application form must be submitted online along with the scanned copy of the score sheet 12.
  • Applicants must enter their personal information in the SRMJEEE 2020 exam application, their phone number, email ID, category, their parents' name and any other personal information requested by them.
  • Here the candidates need to fill their educational details and about the marks and subjects, they opted in the Class 10th and class 12th.
  • They should be very specific and clear while filling this educational related information.
  • Here the candidates will have to choose the college and department they want to take their admissions in. Here they will have to opt for the courses available in the colleges. They should note that the SRM University will have the final say in the seat allotment as according to the AIR in the SRMJEEE 2020.
  • The candidates who do not have the Class 12th Mark sheet in original should submit the provisional certificate duly signed by the head of their previous institution.

 Candidates with Biology, Physics, Chemistry are eligible for admission to B.Tech in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering and Genetic Engineering.

Yes, you are eligible for B.Tech admissions. But you have to check your Age limit.

Am studying HSC through NIOS, Am I eligible?

Should we deposit the original certificates on the day of counselling No need to deposit, but you have to produce all original certificates for scrutiny by the University.
Can we pay the counselling fee by cash? All the fees have to be paid online or by DD.
