Introduction

SNAP 2019 Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is conducted by the Symbiosis International University. The exam is organized on a university level through which candidates can get admission in Post Graduate courses. Each year, nearly 50000 candidates compete for 2257 MBA seats. Candidates qualifying the examinations are eligible for admissions into 29 programs offered by the institutes associated with it. This exam is held annually in the month of December and the cut-offs will be released every year. Candidates can get the complete details regarding SNAP 2019 test like registration, important dates, exam pattern, syllabus, result, cutoff, counselling and selection procedure etc.

 

SNAP 2019 Symbiosis International University has started the SNAP 2019 registration process on 16th August 2019 and the last date to register for the exam is 23rd November 2019 and the entrance exam is scheduled on 15th December 2019.

Master of Business Administration (Energy and Environment)

  • Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory University in Agri Sciences or Agri related discipline with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination.

  • Non-Agri graduates from any statutory University with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in the qualifying examination with a basic understanding of agriculture and agribusiness and keep interest in the same are also eligible to apply. Such candidates need to demonstrate their understanding and interest in agribusiness during the selection process. Candidates with relevant work experience will be given preference.

  • Non-Agri graduates from any statutory University with minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks at Graduate level and having a family business in agriculture and allied sector will also be considered eligible for admission.

 

  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

 

  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidate should be a graduate from any statutory University with a minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) in Engineering/ Geology/ Economics/ Petroleum/ Energy & Environment Science/ Bio-Chemistry/ Architecture. Other graduates with full-time work experience of more than one year after graduation in the Energy and Environment sector are also eligible to apply.

 

  • Candidates appearing for final year examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in the qualifying examination.

 

  • A candidate who has completed qualifying qualification from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

  • The candidates are first required to register themselves at the SNAP - 2019.

 

  • Once the registration is done successfully a verification link will be sent on the  registered E-mail ID.

 

  •  Log in with username and password to fill the SNAP test 2019 application form.

 

  • Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo.

 

  • Make Payment for the Test fee of 1750/- Rs.

SNAP 2019 also invites applications from foreign candidates. However, the registration and admission process of an international candidate is different than the regular procedure.

  • Candidates must carry the Admit card to the examination room. anyone who fails to do so will be prevented from taking the exam.

 

  • It is advisable to have on hand a copy of the admit card, which can serve as a future reference.

 

  • A candidate must bring his/ her valid Original documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.

 

  • The candidate is required to report at the Test Centre by 12:00 hrs to undergo, admit card and id proof verification, digital fingerprint scan and biometrics will be captured.

 

  • Cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronic gadgets are not be allowed in the examination hall.

 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the hall till 14.45 hrs. After submission of the test candidate will not be allowed to re-enter the test hall.

 Counselling Scheduled on:

 

 SNAP 2019 counselling to be scheduled tentatively in the month of January 2020.

 

 Counselling Process:

 

  • The Counselling sessions will only be held for students who have passed the Symbiosis National Qualifying Test and have their name in the merit list.
  • It will only take place once and the students will have to attend the same as per the official schedule.
  • It is the primary responsibility of students to update with official dates.
  • The counselling process will be organized so as to offer the final admission to the qualified students.
  • There are various stages which are associated with the SNAP Counselling 2018. The students need to undergo each and every stage so as to get the final enrollment in the management courses.

 

   Stage 1: Online Registration

         

  • The first step in the counselling process is the registration process. Qualified students will need to register them in order to participate in the counselling process. At this stage, applicants must pay the registration fee to confirm their registration.

 

   Stage 2: Choice filling and locking

    

  • This is the second step of the councilling. At this stage, students must indicate their choices regarding the course as they want. The choices must be made very carefully. After making the choices, students must lock them. No changes shall be made once after locking the choices.

 

  Stage 3: Final Seat Allotment 

 

  • This is the third and final step of SNAP Counselling 2019. The final seat will be awarded to students based on their merit ranking, course preference and seat availability. Once the seat allotment is done, the students will have to go through a document verification round.

  • The selection procedure is the three-step process. This procedure is decided by the official authority in order to allow the final admission to the most meritorious and most able students for the postgraduate management courses.

 

   Step 1: Entrance Examination (SNAP 2019)

    

  • The students need to appear and qualify the Symbiosis national aptitude test so as to proceed towards the next rounds of selection.

 

 Step 2: Group Exercise (GE)

 

  • The second round of selection as per SNAP Selection Procedure 2019. Candidates will be assessed during the group discussion exercise on their ability to apply logic and reasons. The group discussion brings out the ability of the candidates to make decisions and the management skills are highlighted.

 

  Step 3: Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT)

 

  • Next and the final round of SNAP Selection Procedure 2018 is the personal interaction and written ability test round.
  • Candidates will be asked to write an essay of 10 marks weightage related to any current topics.
  • This is the most important part of the selection process. The personality and overall trust of the candidates will be judged. Candidates must confidently answer questions related to their field of study and work experience.

When is it conducted?  
  • The exam is scheduled for 15 December  2019.
Is it an online exam?
  • The exam will be conducted in online mode only.

     What will be the registration fee for SNAP 2019          examination?  
  • The application fee will be 1750 INR.
   Can I make changes in my personal details once         the form has been submitted?
  • No, no change in name, DOB, category and test city will be entertained once the application is submitted.

  • You can download SNAP 2019 Admit Card from December 2, 2019.
How can we download the admit card?
  • Admit Card/ TAT can be downloaded by using your SNAP ID on SNAP online portal. There is no other mode to get Admit Card.
Is there any use of Admit card after the examination is over?  
  • Yes, SNAP Admit call will also be required in the counselling process.

Does Symbiosis University release Cut-off?
  • Yes, the cut off is released by the Symbiosis University after the declaration of result. Based on the cut-off score a merit list is prepared and shortlisted candidates are called for the second round of selection procedure.

  • Yes, there will be negative marking for the incorrect response.
