Procedure to Obtain Application Forms:

The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained from The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, Pin- 248003 through:-

• By Sending Demand Draft: The prospectus-cum application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by sending a written request with a demand draft of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates & Rs. 555/- for SC/ST candidates along with caste certificate in favour of "THE COMMANDANT RIMC DEHRADUN", DRAWEE BRANCH, STATE BANK OF INDIA, TEL BHAVAN, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE-01576), UTTARAKHAND.

• The address should be TYPED/ WRITTEN clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS "the pin code and contact number.

• RIMC will NOT be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of prospectus caused by illegible or incomplete address.

• The delay on part of the postal department is not the responsibility of this institution.

• Online Payment: The prospectus-cum-application form and booklet of old question papers can also be obtained by making online payment of Rs. 600/- for General Candidates & Rs. 555/- for SC/ST candidates on RIMC website.

• On receipt of the payment, the prospectus-cum application form and booklet Of Old question papers will be dispatched by Speed post only.

• Process of Submission of Applications: Applications in duplicate on prescribed form accompanied by documents to be attached with application form two passport size photographs, Domicile Certificate of the candidate, Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/ Gram Panchayat, SC, ST Certificate and Certificate from principal Of the School in original with photograph on it attested stating date of birth and in which Class studying Application forms should reach the respective State Governments (as specified in the press note) of which their parents/ guardians are domiciles of, by 30 September 2019.

• Kindly note the application forms must be sent to the State Govts and not to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun.

Note:

• The application forms issued by the RIMC only shall be valid.

• Locally printed/ photocopied and without RIMC hologram(Seal) forms shall not be accepted.

•  No refund of the application fee on any condition.

Use of calculators, log tables and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, and cellular phones are strictly prohibited for the test.

Candidate Test Results will be available on the official website of RMIC Admission 2020 from April 2020.

Procedure to check the Result

Step 1: Visit the Official Website of RMIC Admission 2020.

Step 2: candidate should Navigate Rank Card tab.

Step 3: Enter their Application Number/Hall Ticket Number, date of birth and Log In.

Step 4: Upon Successful Login, the online Score-Card for RMIC Admission 2020 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it for further use.

RIMC Admission 2020 Selection Process

• The written part of the examination will consist of three papers, namely English and Mathematics shall be conducted on 01 December 2019 and General Knowledge paper on 02 December 2019.

• Maths and General knowledge papers may be answered either in Hindi or in English.

• Minimum pass marks in each paper is 50%.

• The interview date shall be 07 April 2020.

• The Interview will be held for only those candidates qualify in the written exam.

• Minimum pass marks in the interview is 50%.

• The date, venue for interview will be intimated to them by respective States by the first week of March 2020.

• Intelligence and Personality of the candidates will be tested in the interview.

• All the candidates qualified after an interview will undergo a medical examination at selected Military Hospitals.

• Only those candidates found medically fit will be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC.

• The medical examination of the candidates forms only a part of the system of selection and does not imply the final selection.

• As per the Government of India, Ministry Of Defence letter No AJ3610S/CS/MT-6/D(CS-ll) dated 03 September 2014, the wards of Central Government employees can undertake their written exam and viva voce at the place of posting of employee/ domicile state.

• However, their domicile will be as per original domicile state and accordingly, their candidature will also be considered as per the state of domicile.

• It is mandatory the application form is to be deposited in the state where the exam is to be undertaken.

• The interviews will be held for only those candidates mo pass the Mitten exam; their list will be sent to the respective State Governments by RIMC after approval of MT Directorate.

• It is mandatory for all the selected candidates (including candidates from all India Reserve Merit List, if selected) to join RIMC Within 10 days of commencement of term as per the joining instructions.

• If the selected candidate fails to join within 10 days, his candidature will be cancelled and the next reserve candidate will be called to join.

• Vacancies for Jul Term 2020, in all respect, will be filled by 30 July 2020.

• NO candidate will be allowed to join RIMC after 30 July 2020 under any circumstances (incl. medical).

• Results and joining instructions will be regularly updated on the RIMC website. It is the candidate's responsibility to check the status regularly.
