B.Tech
  • Aspirants must have passed a 10 + 2 or equivalent examination by a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

 

  • The candidate must have obtained a total of at least 60% marks in the PESSAT 2020 Qualification Exam.

 

  • For the B.Tech program, applicants for admission to the program should have passed the PESSAT (National Level Examination) or KCET (State Level Examination).
B.Des
  • Aspirants must have passed a 10 + 2 or equivalent examination by a recognized board in any stream.

 

  • The candidate must have obtained a total of at least 60% marks in the PESSAT 2020 Exam.

 

  • Aspirants must have a test score in PESSAT & UCEED.
B.Arch & BBA LLB Courses
  • Applicants must qualify the 10 + 2 exam with an overall mark of 50% and it is mandatory to study mathematics for the B.Arch course.

 

  • Applicants must qualify for the CLAT exam to be admitted to the BBA LLB course.

 

  • Applicants must have passed the NATA exam to be admitted to the B.Arch program.

 

  • The application form PESSAT 2020 must be completed by the candidates, as well as they, should have uploaded their CLAT/ NATA score.

Applicants those who are eligible and interested can apply online through the Official Website of PES university.

                                                                         

 Application Process:

 

  • Applicants visit official Website or the above-mentioned link.

 

  • Click on Register Now.

 

  • For the first time, Applicants need to create a New Registration by selecting the desired Course and then click on Confirm.

 

  • Fill the Application form.

 

  • upload Valid Documents ( photograph and sign ).

 

  • Make payment via net banking or credit/ debit card.

 

  • Fill in all the required academic details and click on submit.

 

  • Submission of Application.

 

  • Save it and take a print for future reference.

 

 Offline Mode : 

 

  i) By Challan: 

 

  • The candidate must print the application form and the challan, and bring them to the bank for payment. Submit a hard copy of the application with a copy of the challan stamp.

 

  ii) By Demand Draft:

 

  • Must be Paid in favour of the "General Fund of the PES University" Payable in Bangalore. The applicant must obtain the bank's DD, enter the details of the DD in the space provided for this purpose online and send them together with the printed application form to the following address.

B.Tech
  • The PESSAT 2020 syllabus for this course will include the following subjects: Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English.

 

  • For physics, chemistry and mathematics, candidates are advised to follow their class 12 curriculum.

 

  • The English section will only contain questions about grammar.
BBA
  • The PESSAT 2020 course syllabus for this course will include the following topics: Comprehensive English/ Oral Level, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning.
B.DES
  • The PESSAT 2020 syllabus of this course will include the following topics: basic knowledge of colours and shapes, general knowledge, sensitivity to aspects of typography, spatial sense, ability to visualize/ imagine, 3D visualization, freehand drawing, interpretation of Natural laws and basic engineering, basic English, basic analytical skills.

 

  • PESSAT for B.Des is a Design Ability Test (DAT) and it is a test of paper and pen.

 

  • Candidates are requested to bring pens, crayons, an eraser and a portfolio of creative work done.

  • On the date of the exam, one of the following ID proof will be required with the admit card for verification purposes:

PESSAT 2020 Exam Day Instructions

Exam Day Instructions

  • Candidates must carry the Admit Card to the examination room. Anyone who fails to do so will be prevented from taking the exam.

 

  • It is advisable to have on hand a copy of the admit card, which can serve as a future reference.

 

  • A candidate must bring his/ her valid original documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.

 

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.

 

  • Candidates will not be allowed to carry calculators, mobile phones or any other electronic gadgets in the examination hall.

 

  • If the candidate has problems with the computer provided, he must immediately contact the invigilator.

 

  • As there is no negative marking in PESSAT 2020, it is advisable for candidates to try as many questions as possible.

 

  • Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall until the exam is over and till the invigilator permits them.

PESSAT 2020 Result will be available for B.Tech course in the Last Week of May 2020 and for the other courses the results will be announced after 3 days from the test date.

 Procedure to check the result:

 

Step 1: Applicant has to go through the official website of PES University.

 

Step 2: Link on the link " B.Tech Result"

 

Step 3: Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth and then click on Continue.

 

Step 4: The online Scorecard for PESSAT 2020 will appear on the screen.

 

Step 5: Download it and take to Printout which will be used at the time of Counselling.

Cut Off

PESSAT 2020 Cut Off Procedure

Cutoff Procedure
  • PES university will announce the cut off of PESSAT 2020 for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses for the session 2020-21 soon after the declaration of the result.

 

  • PESSAT 2020 cut off list will be declared for all the courses such as B.Tech, B.Des, BBA LLB.

 

  • Candidates need to secure the cut off marks or minimum percentage of marks required for admissions to undergraduate engineering courses offered by PES University.

 

  • Those who secure the minimum cut off are called for the counselling process.

The PESSAT 2020 cut-off depends on various factors like:

  • The number of available seats.

 

  • The number of candidates appearing for the exam.

 

  • Average marks obtained by the candidates.

 

  • Level of complexity of the examination.

 

  • The Average score of the candidates in each category.

 

  • The number of candidates in each category.

Counselling

PESSAT 2020 Counselling Procedure

Counselling Process

  • A merit list will be prepared based on the total number of Marks obtained in PESSAT-2020.

 

  • The result of the examination and the details of the counselling will be published on the official website of PES University.

 

  • The PESSAT 2020 counselling and interview session takes place before the final selection of candidates by the PES University.

 

  • Applicants who meet the minimum cutoff may participate in the on-site counselling process.

 

  • If the candidate does not participate in the counselling process, the corresponding seat will be proposed to the next eligible candidate.

 

  • It is advisable to take original and photocopied documents for counselling/ interview round.
