 LPUNEST 2019 B.Tech Eligibility

Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST (B.Tech/M.B.A)

Qualifying Examination 

Applicants appearing for LPUNEST (B.Tech.) should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2019, in final examination of 10+2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi) or The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognized by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.

Eligibility Criteria in the Qualifying Examination 

Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST (B.Tech)

• For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (Food Technology), B.Tech. (Biomedical Engineering).

Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & either Maths or Biology or Biotechnology; other things remaining same as above.

• For B.Tech. Chemical Engineering (CHE) and B.Tech. (Petroleum Engineering)

Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English; other things remaining same as above.

Test day Requirements

The Admit Card is an important document; it must be preserved and produced at the time of admission also. 

Report to the selected test centre with two copies of the Admit card, one photocopy of the application form and any one of the following for photo identification:

  Required Documents on Test Day:

• Candidates younger than 18 yrs. Old: School IDs acceptable.
• Candidates 18 yrs. And older: Can bring ID cards with Photo only (Signature not mandatory)
• Other ID proofs allowed:
• Permanent Driving License
• Passport
• PAN card
• Aadhaar card

LPUNEST 2019 results will be available on the 4^th May, the candidates can check there results from official Website of LPU.

Procedure to check the result:

Step 1: Visit the official website of LPUNEST.

Step 2: Click on "View Result" tab.

Step 3: Enter the Application Number and Password and then click on submit

Step 4: The online Scorecard for LPUNEST 2019 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download it and take its print out .which will be used at the time of                          admission/counselling

LPUNEST 2019 Counseling Process

 Counselling Process

After the declaration of result, Online Counselling and Seat Allocation for both schedule I and II will start from 4th May 2019 onwards within the prescribed time limit.

Based on the student’s preference, the seat will be allocated. After the seat is allocated, the applicant needs to deposit the fee through Online Mode or manually by visiting the University Campus/ Camp Office.

• Get your scorecard/ rank.
• Fill the seat preference.
• The student can give a number of preferences which can vary in stream and program. (depending upon the choice of discipline)
• The applicant will be allotted a particular programme in the first round of counselling, based upon the availability of seat and preferences filled by the applicant.
• Download the allotment letter.
• Deposit initial payment of Rs. 10000/- (Application fee: Rs 500 for male; Rs 250 for female. Rest under Programme Fee of the first semester.) to confirm the seat.
• Complete the Admission form.
• Upload the documents.

Note: After the first round of the counselling, the upgradations of the allotted seats may be    done or vacant seats may be filled in subsequent rounds

• For admission in B.Tech, B.Tech, Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech and Integrated B.Tech - MBA, applicants should at least have 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)

• For B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech. (BT - Food Technology), B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - M.Tech., Integrated B.Tech. Biotechnology (BT) - MBA and Integrated B.Tech. (BT - Food Technology) - MBA, the subjects considered are Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths or Biology or Biotechnology, with 60% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent.

Purchasing LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit

The Applicant may obtain LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit from University Campus or any other prescribed place by paying cash. Once the applicant has obtained the LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit, the form can be submitted by one of the following methods:

Manual:

Filled in application form and send it to the university in the self-addressed envelope.

Semi-Online Application :

Fill the OMR sheet No. and Unique OMR code in the Online

i. LPUNEST 2019 Results will be published on the LPUNEST 2019 Result Date, i.e. 10th February for Schedule-I

ii. For Schedule-II, the Results will be published on the LPUNEST 2019 official website on 4th May 2019.

iii. Candidates should download their scorecard and preserve it for future reference

Availability of Admit Card:

• Admit Cards for LPUNEST 2019 will be Available to the Candidates from  25^th March 2019.

Slot Booking:  

• The Admit card will be generated immediately after the applicant books the slot through the online slot booking system.
• Test Slot will be reserved within 48 hours of getting the LPUNEST 2019 Application form.

How Can I get Admission in LPU?  

You need to fulfil the eligibility criteria which is passed with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST or JEE Mains     

                                            (or)

In case marks scored in 10+2 are 90% or above, then LPUNEST or JEE Mains will be exempted and the candidate may apply for admission.
