Candidates who have secured at least 55% of marks for general category and 50% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PWD), OBCs [Cat-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, and IIIB]

Selection

Karmnataka SET 2020 Selection Process:

1. From each subject only 6% top candidates clearing KSET shall be declared ‘Pass’ in the examination.
2. The candidates will have to be among the top 6% qualifiers in each subject so that he/ she shall be considered for the award of KSET certificate.
3. The selection of candidates for the 6% slot shall be based as per the reservation rules and policies.

Hall-Ticket

The Karnataka SET exam is now scheduled for 21st June 2020 after the relaxation in the lock down or Unlock 1 from 01st June 2020. The Karnataka SET Hall Ticket is going to release in the second week of the June 2020.

Steps to Download the Karnataka SET 2020 Hall Ticket:

1. Visit the Official Website and click on the Download Admit Card link.
2. Enter the Application Number and log in.
3. Download the Admit Card and Take the Print Out.

Note: Candidates shall compulsorily carry the Admit card along with the photo identity proof to the examination hall.

1. What is the eligibility criteria for KSET?
Candidates possessing a Masters degree with a minimum of 55% marks for general candidates and 50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates are eligible to apply for KSET.

2.What is the purpose of KSET exam?
KSET Exam is conducted by University of Mysore to recruit the personnel for the post of lecturer and assistant professor.

Candidates simply have to click on the forgot password option and then the password will be reset. Candidates have to fill the details like Date of Birth and other details mentioned while registration.

5.What to do if the photograph and signature image is not getting uploaded?
The photograph and signature image would not get uploaded if the size of the images is not within the limits. Photograph image should be of 206 X 240 pixels and less than 100 kb. The signature image should be of 206 X 60 pixels and less than 30 kb.

6.Can a candidate apply from a different email address if the details are incorrectly filled for the first time?
Only one email address and mobile number can be registered with one candidate.
