Introduction

The renowned Jain University (in accordance with Article 3 of the 1956 UGC Law), established in 1990, is a private university located in Bangalore. The University offers innovative programs at UG and PG levels and research programs. Admission will be offered in the following areas: engineering, management, science, commerce, humanities, social sciences and many other language courses. The separate entrance examination is organized by the university for admission to the UG and PG courses. Admission to the university is entirely based on the entrance examination to the university.

 

Candidates must complete their application form to be admitted to the university. The application forms for the UG, PG and B.Tech courses are published separately as part of the JET exam. Candidates wishing to be admitted to Jain University must be appeared in the Jain Entry Test and obtain merit. Currently, candidates can register for UG and B.Tech courses.    Course Eligibility
                  B.Tech 
  • Candidate must have passed Class XII in PUC/ CBSE or equivalent board in all streams with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

 

  • Candidates must have a total of 60% or more. In case of SC/ ST, eligibility will be relaxed up to 5%.

 

  • Candidates who have completed the 12th or equivalent exam, as well as candidates waiting for their 12th result, may also apply.
Undergraduate (UG) Courses
  • Students must have passed their PUC/ 12 exam or equivalent of any board permitted by the Indian government.

 

  • Candidates must have a total of 60% or more in class XII. In case of SC/ ST, eligibility will be relaxed up to 5%

The JET 2020 result will be declared within two weeks of the exam being conducted that is on 2nd week of April 2019.

Procedure to check the result:

 

Step 1: Applicant has to go through the official website of Jain University.

 

 

Step 2: Link on the link "result"

 

 

Step 3: Enter the Registration Number and Password and then click on Show Result.

 

 

Step 4: The online Scorecard for JET 2020 will appear on the screen.

 

 

Step 5: Download it and take its Print out.which will be used at the time of Counselling.

JET 2020 - Cutoff Procedure

Merit List
  • Jain University will announce the Merit list for the exam JET 2020 for admissions to B.Tech and UG courses for the session 2020-21 soon after the declaration of the result.

 

  • Candidates need to secure the cut off marks or minimum percentage of marks required.

 

  • Candidates with the required cut-off will be eligible for the counselling in the Jain University Campus, Bangalore.

Counselling

JET 2020 - counselling Procedure

Counselling

  • Soon after results are declared the Jain university will conduct counselling for the qualified students.
  • Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam will be invited via registered E-mail ID.
  • Invited students can attend the counselling as per the schedule.
  • Candidates who have secured marks more than the required cut-off will be eligible for the counselling.
  • Merit list will be Prepared for the candidates who are eligible for the counselling.
