1. Associate Professor

Max Age: 64 Years all the posts and categories of dental specialities

Max Age: 69 Years all the posts and categories of Medical Specialities.

Essential for Medical Candidates:
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or  Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in
Section 13 (3) of the Act.
(ii) A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.

Essential for Non-Medical Candidates:
(i) A Postgraduate qualification i.e. Masters Degree in the concerned subject/allied discipline
(ii) A Doctorate degree of a recognized University in the respective subject/allied discipline.

Four years teaching experience as Assistant Professor in th concerned speciality in a recognized medical college with minimum of two research publications in indexed/national journals provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publications in the Journals by the

National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.
2. Assistant Professor

Essential for Medical Candidates:
(i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 19S6. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in
Section 13 (3) of the Act.
(ii) A Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/ allied discipline.

Essential for Non-Medical candidates:
