DUET 2019

DUET 2019 Delhi University Entrance Test is a national level Entrance Test conducted by Delhi University (DU) for admission into various undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), MPhil and PhD programmes. DUET exam is of two hour duration for all courses.

 

Candidates interested to apply for the different programmes offered but make sure to check the DUET Eligibility criteria 2019 before filling out the application form.

 

Candidates must note that in case the DUET 2019 eligibility criteria is not fulfilled then their application will not be considered for the merit list. The DUET eligibility criteria 2019 also specifies the mandatory subjects that candidates must have studied for their qualifying examination.  DUET 2019 Application Form Download Procedure:

 

  • Go to the official website of Delhi University.
  • Click on ‘UG Admissions".
  • In order to fill Delhi University application form, first of all aspirants have to create a login ID by providing their Email ID, mobile number and password.
  • After creating the login ID, aspirants need to fill details such as their name, date of birth, category, address, nationality, gender and guardian’s/parent’s name.
  • After filling all the details in DUET online application form, candidates need to upload the below-mentioned documents in their registration form for DU admissions based on entrance exam.
  • Fill Educational, Course & Test Centre details in DUET application form.
  • Next, candidates need to pay the application fee by clicking on the “Click to Make Payment” button. Aspirants can pay DU application fee for the entrance exam by means of Credit Card, Debit Card or Net Banking.
  • Lastly, aspirants should take a clear printout of their duly filled DU application form that they have downloaded from the official website of University of Delhi.

DUET 2019 Preparation Tips 

Knowing your Syllabus

  • The first step prior to commencing preparation is to develop familiarity with the syllabus. Go through the syllabus well so that you can gather study resources accordingly.

 

Collect Good Materials

  • The next step should be to gather study resources for the exam. 

Time table that is realistic

  • The best way to kick-start your preparation for examination is by preparing a timetable and then sticking to it throughout the preparation tenure. A meticulous study plan is a right approach that can help you resolve all your doubts and attain lucid perception of various theories, concepts and their uses regarding the syllabus.

Focus on Important Topics

  • Focus more on the topics which are Important and as well as in which we are weak. So that we will have enough time to complete and prepare most of the topics.

Exam preparation analysis

  • Sets of paper that contains questions from the syllabus of WBJEE, and also on the pattern of WBJEE are referred to as practice tests / mock tests / sample papers. It is important to solve them on regular basis, especially in the weeks leading up to the exam. This builds up speed and accuracy.

  • Candidates are suggested to appear mock test on regular basis at least twice a week for analyzing your mistakes and never repeat them and try to improve more.

Do Quick Revisions

  • Revise your chapters thoroughly, immediately after the completion of the chapter. Stay Confident to score well.

  • A sound body is the healthy sign of refreshing mind. To do well in the exam, one has to remain healthy both physically and mentally.

  • Candidates must carry the Admit card to the examination room. anyone who fails to do so will be prevented from taking the exam.

 

  • It is advisable to have on hand a copy of the admit card, which can serve as a future reference.

 

  • A candidate must bring his / her valid Original Documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.

 

  • Candidates must reach the exam centre at least 30 to 45 minutes before the exam starts.

 

  • Check all the required documents, as indicated above, it would be helpful to check if they have all of them with them before leaving for the exam hall.

 

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any textual material in printed or written form and things like log tables, formula book, mobile phone, pager, programmable calculators inside the exam hall.

 

  • Candidate should not do any kind of Malpractice while the exam for which he/she shall be debarred.

 Step 1: Visit the Official website of DUET 2019 or NTA.

 Step 2: Click on DUET 2019 and then click on "Candidate Login for Viewing Individual Result"

 Step 3: Enter the Registration Number and Password.

Counselling Procedure

 Counselling will be Scheduled on July 12th, 2019 (Tentative)
  • Candidates who qualify in DUET 2019 will be called for the counselling process after the results are announced. The date of the counselling will be intimidated to students through email. The possible date for counselling to begin will be 12th July 2019.

 

  • It is necessary for the candidates to appear in person for counselling for admission before the Admission Committee. No relaxation of any kind will be given in this regard.
