How to fill the AP RCET 2019 Application Form:

 

Step-1: On the browser, type the official website address and press ‘Enter’, A new screen is displayed on the computer.

 

Step-2: Fee Payment - Candidate can make fee payment through Net banking/ Credit/Debit Card and cash at AP Online centres.

 

Step-3: Know your Payment status - Candidate can check the Success/ Failure status of Fee Payment by using their registration number and date of birth.

 

Step-4: Fill Application - After fee payment either by cash at A online Center or by money transfer by Debit/Credit/Net Banking modes, the candidate should fill in the online application form as per the instructions.

 

Step-5: Print Application Form - After submission of online application form, the candidate can print the submitted form for future use.

AP RCET 2019 - Admit Card

Admit card for AP RCET is now available on the Official Website. Candidates can download the Admit Card from the Official Website from 28.10.2019. To download the admit card, candidates require to login using their payment reference Id, registration number, date of birth, and mobile number. No hard copy of the AP RCET 2019 Hall Ticket is sent to the candidates via post.

Test day Requirements

Acceptable ID’s include PAN Card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (with photo)/ Aadhar Enrolment Number. / Ration Card.

AP RCET 2019 - Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are required to go through the instructions given below carefully:-

 

  • The examination centres will open 15 minutes before the reporting time of the Entrance Test on the day of examination
  • Candidates are expected to be in their seats at the reporting time of the Entrance Test
  • Candidates who do not possess the Admit Cards will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall under any circumstances. This card must be shown on demand
  • Candidates are not admitted to the examination after 10.00 A.M. and not permitted to leave the Examination hall before 01.00 P.M.
  • No candidate shall be allowed to enter examination hall for appearing in the examination after the distribution of Answer Sheets.
  • Any malpractice case will be dealt with as per rules of CETs in force
  • The candidate must sit in the seat allotted to him/ her
  • In no case, a candidate can change his/ her seat
  • No candidate will leave the hall before the expiry of the full time prescribed for the Entrance Test and without handing over Answer Sheet to the invigilator on duty
  • The candidate’s misbehaviour in any manner in the Examination Hall shall entail him/ her disqualification. Any disturbance in the examination hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour and the candidates shall forfeit the right to continue to sit in the examination hall. The decision of the centre superintendent shall be final.

Results

AP RCET 2019 - Results

The result of AP RCET 2019 will be announced by its conducting authority on its Official Website. The results are generally released by the second week of December 2019. Candidates can download their rank card or scorecard from the website after the result declaration. The result will be a merit list which is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance marks secured in the entrance test.

Selection

AP RCET 2019 - Selection Procedure

Selection Procedure for AP RCET 2019:

Universities shall admit candidates by a 2 stage process, i.e., Entrance test & Interview.

1. Scheme of the Entrance Test: An Entrance test shall be conducted for 180 marks. The Entrance Test consists of two parts, i.e., Part-A and Part-B. Part-A shall be the Teaching and Research Aptitude for 90 marks, whereas Part-B shall be the subject-specific for 90 marks.


2. Syllabus of the Entrance Test: Part-A shall be the Teaching and Research Aptitude on the lines of UGC NET Paper-I Syllabus. For Part-B, Syllabus is given in APRCET website.

 


3. Qualifying marks in the Entrance Test: An Entrance Test shall be with qualifying marks as 50% for open category candidates and 45% for OBC/SC/ST/PH categories.

 


4. Interview: Qualified Candidates in the Entrance Test will be called for interview/viva-voce by the concerned University Department where the candidates are required to discuss their research interest/area through a presentation before a duly constituted Committee. An Interview is for 20 marks. Interview Committee shall consist of three members; Head of the Department, Chairman, Board of Studies and one Senior Faculty member from the Department nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.

The interview shall also consider the following aspects, viz. whether:

 

  • The candidate possesses the competence for the proposed research;

 

  • The research work can be suitably undertaken at the Institution/College;

 

  • The proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.

AP RCET 2019 - Required Documents

  • AP RCET 2019 entrance exam Admit card for the interview.

 

  • Provisional/ Original certificates and marks statement will be required of the qualifying examination.

 

  • A transfer certificate will be required from the university/institute where the aspirant last studied.

 

  • The candidate will have to bring in a migration certificate in case he/she has studied from other universities.

 

  • A date of birth certificate is required.

 

  • The candidate will require a physical fitness certificate from Medical officer/Andhra University/Government Assistant Surgeon.

 

  • Service certificates (Part-Time) from organization where the candidate worked/are working.

 

  • A no-objection certificate (NOC) is required from the present organization (For candidates who opt for part-time course).

 

  • One set of attested copies of the mentioned certificates/documents
