The Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) 2020 is a State-Level entrance examination Organized Once in a year which Offers admissions to various courses in Engineering, Technological, Veterinary, Agriculture, Fisheries, Paramedical, and other Professional Degree Courses. Candidates are offered admission to various courses on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination.

Nationality
  • The applicant must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent Resident of Tripura.
Residence/ Domicile
  • The Candidate or his/ her parents must have been residing in the state of Tripura for not less than 10 (ten) years.

 

  • Students who are born to All India Services Officers in Manipur- Tripura Cadre too can appear for the exam.

 

  • Children of state government employees posted outside Tripura can also take the exam independently of their prior stay in Tripura.

 

  • Candidates whose parents are appointed to the Central Government and have spent three years or more in Tripura on an ongoing basis may only take the examination if they appeared/passed the Higher secondary examination from an Institution of Tripura.

 

  • Children of serving Defence personnel (Army/ Navy/ Air Force) hailing from Tripura too are eligible to appear for the exam, provided the children had resided in Tripura for not less than 5 years.

 

  • In case of wards of Ex-Servicemen, either the candidate or his/her parents must have been staying in Tripura continuously for not less than 5 years immediately prior to the date of application for TJEE 2020.

 

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 from Tripura Board of Secondary Education/ CBSE/ or any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology as main subjects.

Previous Allotment w.r.t JEE

  • If a candidate is allotted a seat in the past inside or outside the State on the basis of result of Joint Entrance Examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, he/ she shall not be eligible to appear at the Joint Entrance Examination this year and in subsequent years unless he/ she has surrendered  in writing within the specified time.

  • Reservation of seats for SC/ ST/ PH/ EX will be made as per the inbuilt provisions of the State Government of Tripura.

Applicants those who are eligible and interested can apply online through the Official Website of TBJEE.

 

However, the completed application form must be submitted to the Admission Office within the last date of the application process.

  1. Over the Counter - Applicants can obtain the TJEE 2020 application form and prospectus from the office by paying the application fee.

 2. In-Person - The application form can be collected in different colleges of Tripura every working day by paying the application fee.

 3. By Post - Applicants may also obtain the application form and the Prospectus by mail from the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination office by sending a postal order of INR 100 per application form to the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination Board payable at Agartala Head Post Office.

 

 Note: Candidates should note that all postal requests must be sent along with a self-addressed envelope of 30 cm x 13 cm size and a postage stamp of INR 5/- affixed to it.

PH Certificate

Availability of Admit card:

Admit cards for TBJEE 2020 will be dispatched by the last week of March 2020.

The admit cards will be sent by post to the candidates.

 

Note: Candidates who do not receive the TBJEE 2020 admission card must check their name on the website.

The admit card is an important document. it must be preserved and produced at the time of admission as well.

 

Report to the selected test centre with two copies of the Admit card, one photocopy of the application form and any one of the following for photo identification:

  • A candidate must preserve his/ her admit card until the examination process is over since it will be required at the time of counselling.

 

  • A candidate must bring his/ her valid original documents like PAN, Aadhar, or any document issued by Govt with a photo.

 

  • Candidates should report to the examination hall half an hour before the start of the examination. No entry shall be allowed after the test starts.

 

  • Candidates must bring blue ballpoint pen for filling entries in the answer sheet.
  • Exchange of pen/ pencil/ sharpener etc is strictly not allowed in the examination hall.

 

  • Use of mobile phone electronic calculator, log table, slide ruler is not permissible.

The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will tentatively announce the TJEE 2020 result in the First Week of June 2020 in online mode.

In order to verify the results of TJEE 2020, applicants will have to log-in to their account using their registration number and date of birth. 

 

The candidates can check there results from official Website of TBJEE.

Procedure to check the result:

 

Step 1: Visit the official website of TBJEE.

 

Step 2: Click on the "Results" tab.

 

Step 3: Enter the Enrollment No and Date of Birth and then click on Show Result.

 

Step 4: The online Scorecard for TJEE 2020 will appear on the screen.

 

Step 5: Download it and take its print out .which will be used at the time of Counselling.

  • The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidate in the following subjects: physics (P), chemistry (C), mathematics (M), biology (B) according to his/ her choice.

 

  • For example, for a candidate who has opted for the PCM group, physics, chemistry and mathematics will be taken into account; while for the group PCB, Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be judged.

 

  • In case of equality, the successive steps will be adopted according to the standards.

Counselling

TBJEE 2020 Counselling Process

Counselling Process 

After the declaration of result and Merit list, the counselling will be led by Tripura Board (TBJEE) for admissions to undergraduate engineering programs at state engineering schools.

 

The counselling session is usually held in the month of June every year.

 

The 2020 TJEE Board will be based on the Merit List of the Entrance Exam and the preferred branches and colleges of the candidates.

 

Qualified candidates must be in person for TJEE 2020 and will be required to produce the following documents for verification purposes.
