1. Project Title
Low mass star formation in diverse environmental conditions funded by SERB. (Project Code: 30219060)

Eligibility

M.Sc. in Physics/ Astrophysics or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Candidates having qualified and having valid CSIR/ UGC NETJRF or GATE score-card.
Experience in handling various Astronomical observational data sets in multi-wavelengths.
Computational skills – Python/ IDL/ C++.

2. Project Title
Development of an electrospray-ionization based ion-trap setup for first measurements of absolute photodetachment cross-sections of molecular anions of biological relevance funded by SERB. (Project Code: 30218029).

Eligibility
M.Sc. in Physics (any specialization) or Chemistry (specialization in Physical Chemistry) or an equivalent degree with a minimum of 60% marks/ equivalent grade. A valid CSIR-UGC NET (including LS) score in Physics OR a valid GATE score in Physics OR selection through national level examinations conducted by the central government institutions (IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.).

Rs. 31000/- + 8% HRA per month (Consolidated)

The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of two years. The position is co-terminus with the project.
