GUJCET 2020 Exam Postponed to July 31

Introduction

GSEB has postponed GUJCET 2020. The Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET 2020) will be conducted on July 31. The entrance exam was earlier scheduled on March 31. Over 1.25 lakh (1,25,781) have applied to appear for the exam. The state-level entrance test administered by GSHSEB has received 49,888 registrations from the medical stream and 75,519 from the non-medical stream. Another 374 persons have registered for both medical and non-medical subjects. The exam GUJCET is held in three languages of Gujarati, Hindi and English.

Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) is a State Level Entrance Examination that offers admission to B.E./B.Tech courses in 112 participating Institutes.  It is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). Admission Conducting Authority is given to the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). Nationality Candidate must be a citizen of India to apply for GUJCET 2020.
Domicile Candidates have to be the permanent residents of Gujarat State to apply for GUJCET 2020.
Educational Qualification
  • Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any other recognized board.

 

  • Final Year Candidates of Class 12 can also apply for GUJCET 2020.

 

  • Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks (general category) and 40% marks (reserved categories).

Note: Candidates should not bring any material with them except the Hall Ticket, Blue/Black Pen.Use of calculators, log tables and slide ruler, watches with facilities of calculator, and cellular phones are strictly prohibited for the test.

The GUJCET 2020 admit card is an important document without which the candidate will not be allowed inside the exam hall; in fact, the candidate must keep it safe and undamaged until the admission process is over. Candidates who reach the centre with no admit card and proofs of identity will not be allowed to write the test.

Candidates have to bring their own stationery things like blue/black ballpoint pens to darken the circles in the given OMR Sheet.

No candidate is allowed to carry any baggage inside the examination hall.
Candidates are also requested to check the instructions before they attend the entrance exam. Books, printed papers (other than their Admit Cards), Manuscripts or electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, cell phones and electronic diary, calculators etc, must not be taken into the examination hall.
The candidates must sign on the Attendance Sheet at the appropriate place.

Malpractice of any form detected during or after the examination is liable to the cancellation of candidature.

Approach the hall invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the course of the examination. Candidates are not allowed to leave the exam hall before the examination is over.

What is the Eligibility to apply for GUJCET 2020? Candidates must have passed their 10+2 or equivalent exam with minimum 45% marks for General category. For candidates belonging to SC/ SEBC categories, 40% is required for the same.
We missed applying for Gujcet...is there any way we can apply right now? Since application form was available in online mode, you cannot apply right now as the date for applying application form has been passed. Right now you don,t have any choice for applying GUJCET 2019.

What are the various modes of payment for submitting the application fee? Candidates can pay through Online (Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking) and Offline through SBI Bank E-PAY Option. 
If the application fee is paid more than once is it refundable? No, it is not refundable in any case.
Can a candidate apply for BE, B. Pharm, B. Arch simultaneously?
Separate Registration should be needed and for BE, B.Pharm & B.Arch admissions.
If I get admission of choice in the mock round, can I secure it?
No. Mock round is a practice round.

If filled choices are not locked, is it safe to log out? There is no need to lock filled choice until you complete your choice filling. However, the choice filled so far should be saved before log out.
