Eligibility

Educational Qualification

  • Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50% of marks in case of SC/ST/PH or equivalent grade i.e., B+ for all categories in class VII Examination studied during the year 2019-20.

 

  • Studying in ZP/Government /Local Body /Government aided schools only.

Income of Parents

  • Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.1,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee.

 

  • The students who are studying VIII class in A.P.Residential High Schools, A.P. Social Welfare Residential Schools, A.P.Tribal Welfare Residential High Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Model schools with the residential facility, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and in Private unaided Schools are not eligible to appear for NMMS Examination.

  • The candidate has also to submit the original caste certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster.

 

  • The candidate has also to submit the Original VII class Pass Memo of Marks to the Headmaster.

Admit card for Andhra Pradesh NMMS 2019 – 2020 for Class VIII will be released by the Directorate of government examination, Andhra Pradesh. Candidates can download the admit card from 1st week of Oct 2019 form the Official website of BSE AP.

  • Go through the NSTE & NMMS and Click on NMMS.

 

  • Select the Students Services and Click on Hall Ticket.

Test day Requirements

  • AP NMMS admit card

 

  • Photo Identity Proof

 

Acceptable ID’s include Aadhaar Card (with photo)/ Aadhar Enrolment Number. / Ration Card.

AP NMMS Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are required to go through the instructions given below carefully:-

 

  • The examination centres will open 15 minutes before the reporting time of the Entrance Test on the day of examination.

 

  • Candidates are expected to be in their seats at the reporting time of the Entrance Test.

 

  • Candidates who do not possess the Admit Cards will not be allowed to sit in the examination hall under any circumstances. This card must be shown on demand.

 

  • Candidates are not admitted to the examination after 10.00 A.M. and not permitted to leave the Examination hall before 01.00 P.M.

 

  • No candidate shall be allowed to enter examination hall for appearing in the examination after the distribution of Answer Sheets.

 

  • Any malpractice case will be dealt with as per rules of NMMS in force.

 

  • The candidate must sit in the seat allotted to him/ her.

 

  • In no case, a candidate can change his/ her seat.

 

  • No candidate will leave the hall before the expiry of the full time prescribed for the Entrance Test and without handing over Answer Sheet to the invigilator on duty.

 

  • The candidate’s misbehaviour in any manner in the Examination Hall shall entail him/ her disqualification. Any disturbance in the examination hall shall be deemed as misbehaviour and the candidates shall forfeit the right to continue to sit in the examination hall. The decision of the centre superintendent shall be final.

Result

AP NMMS Results

The result of AP NMMS will be announced by its conducting authority on its Official Website. The results are generally released by the second or third week of November 2019. Candidates can download their result from the website after the result declaration. The result will be a merit list which is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance marks secured in the entrance test.

Qualifying

  • Candidates have to score the qualifying marks as specified by the conducting authority to clear the examination.

    1) GEN, BC & PH: 40% (36 MARKS)
    2) SC & ST: 32% (29 MARKS)

    Candidates have to score 40% of aggregate marks in MAT and SAT.

 

  • The awardee will receive a sum of Rs. 12000/- per annum for which the awardee shall have to open a joint account with their parents in any S.B.I or in any Nationalized Banks which has core banking facility/ESC facility. On providing the Bank account number list by the states, the Ministry for Human Resource Development, New Delhi will sanction the scholarships and send such list to the SBI, New Delhi for disbursement of scholarships to the awardees. The candidate will get the scholarship amount through SBI, New Delhi on a quarterly basis directly.

  • Cut Off will be released after the result have been declared successfully. The students must pass both the tests i.e. MAT and SAT with at least 40 % marks in aggregate taken together for these two tests.

  • For the SC/ST students, this cut off will be 32% marks. We will be providing the cut off here on our page for the ease of the candidate.
