Eligibility

AP EAMCET 2020 - Eligibility (Engineering)

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET-2020:


a. Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

 

b. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local/ Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended (See AnnexureIII).

 

c. For Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), Pharma.D, B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. [Food Science and Technology (FS & T)], B.Sc. [Agriculture Engg] courses:

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from academic year 2000 onwards, or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

 

d. For Pharm-D course candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma Examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana State Board of Technical Education and raining.

 

  • Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belongs to reserved category) in the subjects specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
  • The candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission (2020) to the above course.

AP EAMCET 2020 - Eligibility (Engineering)

Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for AP EAMCET-2020:

 

  • Candidates should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.

 

  • Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. The candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended (SeeAnnexure-III).

 

 For B.V.Sc. & A.H./ B.Sc. (Ag)/ B.Sc. (Hort)/ B.F.Sc./ B.Tech. (FS&T)courses:

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) or any examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana, with any two / three of the subjects.

 

Note:

  • Irrespective of the subjects taken at the qualifying examination, candidates seeking admission to the above courses should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in AP EAMCET -2020. (AM Category).
  • Candidates should have completed 17years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission (2020) and an upper age limit of 22 years for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of SC/ST candidates as on 31st December of the year of admission (2019).

 

For B. Pharm Course:

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh / Telangana as equivalent thereto.
  • Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of admission or on such other date as may be notified by the CET committee. There is no upper age limit

 

For  B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) Course:

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional, along with the bridge course examination in mathematics conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana shall be eligible.

 

For  Pharm-D Course:

 

  • Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana as equivalent thereto or should have passed or appeared at the final year of the diploma examination in pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.

AP EAMCET 2020 - Identification Documents

Test day Requirements

Hall Ticket along with Filled in Online Application Form with duly affixed recent colour photograph attested by Gazetted Officer (or) Principal of the College where candidate has studied the qualifying examination. However, Signature of the candidate and Left Hand Thumb impression in the presence of Invigilator to be captured in the respective places provided in the Filled in Online Application form.

AP EAMCET 2020 - Exam Day Instructions

Candidates are required to go through the instructions given below carefully:

 

  • Please check the Hall ticket carefully for your Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Test Centre Name, Date and Time of examination.
  • Candidates are advised to reach the venue at least 2 hours before the examination so as to complete the frisking and registration formalities well before the time. The Registration desk will be closed 05 minutes prior to the examination.
  • The candidate must show, on demand, the Hall Ticket for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess the Hall Ticket issued by the Convener, AP EAMCET-2020, shall not be permitted for the examination under any circumstances by the CentreSuperintendent.
  • No candidate, under any circumstances, will be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the commencement of the examination.
  • A seat indicating Hall Ticket number will be allocated to each candidate. Candidate should find out and occupy their allotted seat only. Any candidate found to have changed room or the seat on his/her own other than allotted, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and no plea would be accepted for it.
  • The candidate should ensure that the question paper available on the computer in English and Telugu languages only.
  • No Candidate will be allowed to carry any baggage inside the Examination Centre. The Convener, AP EAMCET-20 will not be responsible for any belongings stolen or lost at the premises.
  • Smoking and eating is strictly prohibited in the examination room.
  • Tea, coffee, cool drinks or snacks are not allowed to be taken into the examination rooms during examination hours.
  • Approach the Centre Superintendent/Invigilator in the room for any technical assistance, first aid emergency or any other information during the course of the examination.
  • No candidate, without the special permission of the Centre Superintendent or the Invigilator concerned, will leave his/her seat or Examination Room until the full duration of the Examination. Candidates must follow the instructions strictly as instructed by the Centre Superintendent/Invigilators.

Weightage

AP EAMCET 2020 - Weightage

Weightage for assigning merit ranks:

75% of EAMCET normalized marks and 25% of Intermediate Marks in group subjects to prepare the rank.

Note:

  • For Candidates having qualifying marks in AP EAMCET-2020, if after normalization, the marks(s) in any individual subject(s) become negative, then the normalized mark(s) in the respective subject(s) are treated as zero. However, total marks in three subjects are considered as EAMCET marks.

  • For the candidates for whom there is no qualifying cut off in AP EAMCET - 2020, if the marks in all the three subjects after normalization go below zero (negative), the total marks are treated as zero and the rank is assigned based on 25% of Intermediate marks weightage. If the tie persists, then AP EAMCET – 2020 normalization marks (though negative) are considered for breaking the tie.

Counselling

AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Schedule

  • AP EAMCET counselling will be conducted course wise starting in the 2nd week of June 2020. Shortlisted candidates have to report at the venue in person. No reason whatsoever will be accepted for absence at the time of AP EAMCET 2020 counselling.
  • Deposit the token money to complete the admission process on the same day at the college. Failing to deposit the admission fee will result in losing the seat.
  • In such cases, a candidate can appear for counselling in next round only. The rank will be considered but previous registration will be cancelled. Candidate will start afresh with the entire counselling process

AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling Procedure

The process of AP EAMCET Counselling involves 3 major steps given below

 

Step 1: Filling of Choices

 

Before selecting or choosing a preferred college and course, you will have to register and generate a new password. For generating a password, steps are mentioned below:

 

  • First, access the link regarding the information of AP EAMCET 2020 Counselling procedure.

  • Click on the ‘Candidates Registration’.

  • Fill in the details as per required for registration such as Registration Number, Hall Ticket Number, Rank, Date of Birth as mentioned in the Certificate Verification.

  • After filling the details, click on ‘Generate Password’. A new screen will then appear.

  • Enter a password (having minimum 8 characters and maximum 10 with at least one Numeric/ Character)

  • Re-enter the Password. Also, enter the Mobile Number that will be provided at the time of verification.

  • Click on ‘Save Password’ to save it.

  • Click on ‘Logout’ and go back to the Homepage.

  • You can easily fill the choices with a Login ID and newly generated Password. Mentioned below are the steps to be followed in order to fill in the choices.

  • Login using Login ID, Hall Ticket No., Password, Date of Birth and Captcha Code.

  • Click on ‘Choice Filling Choice’.

  • Now, fill in the choices as per preferences. To make the options filled more secured, candidates will be sent an OTP on the registered mobile number. Enter the OTP number into the box provided on the page.

Note: You must verify the Engineering Colleges and Course Codes while filling the options and enter the codes correctly.

 

Step 2: Locking Options

 

  • There is no limit on the number of options that an applicant can select in the form.

  • The selected choices can be modified by the applicants till the last date.

  • After modifying their options, the applicants can successfully save changes.

  • One must lock the final options to make the choices secure.

 

Step 3: Allotment of Seats

 

  • Seats are allocated based on a number of factors including merit, category, gender, local area, special reservation category and more.

  • The list of the allotted applicants will be available in online mode, access the allotment letter by logging in on the official site.

  • After the release of the allotment list, download the Challan form for payment and pay the fees in one of the branches of Andhra Pradesh or Indian Bank in the state.

  • It is mandatory to carry the payment receipt at the nearest Help Line Centers.

  • In case the applicants are satisfied with their allotted seats, report at the allotted institute.

Before participating in AP EAMCET web counselling, You must register for the certificate verification session. You will be called for the verification process in the order of your rankings in AP EAMCET 2020 Exam.

 

  • Registration will be carried out at respective help centres only, You must reach the venue and wait for the announcement from authorities

  • You will have to submit AP EAMCET 2020 rank card to the personnel at the entrance When your rank is called, You will have to pay the counselling fee. Post that AP EAMCET 2020 registration form will be given to you.

  • Fill details like AP EAMCET 2020 Hall ticket number and rank in the form, On the next announcement, you will be called for document verification
